Bexhill Association of National Trust Members

THE Bexhill Association of National Trust Members met on December 6 for the last of its lecture meetings for 2008.

They were treated to a very pleasant afternoon of traditional folk songs of the 16th and 17th Century, played on unusual instruments of the period by Joy Lewis and Derrick Hughes.

The variety of instruments included Northumbrian smallpipes, recorders, guitar, hammer dulcimer, crumhorn, concertina, zither harp and bowed psaltery.
