Author's story enthuses Worthing pupils

CHILDREN'S author David Fuller visited West Park School in Worthing to share his Alfie Jones series of books with pupils.

He told the children in years three to six how he had become a writer and what inspired him to write.

Sophie Gumbrill, the English co-ordinator, said: “He even showed the front cover of his latest book for the first time as an exclusive to West Park.

“The children enjoyed hearing extracts read aloud from his books and taking part in some drama activities during the workshops.
