BALCOMBE FLOWER CLUB: On Friday 29 April we have Valerie Gunn as our demonstrator and her theme is “Traditional with a Twist”. Do come along. We meet in the Parish Room, doors open at 7.30 pm for 8pm start.
BRYONY’S CURRY NIGHT: as part of her fund-raising mission for Meningitis on Friday 29 April Bryony will be making Chicken Tikka Masala or Veggie Curry with white rice for only £6. All the money will go towards the Meningitis Research Foundation as part of Bryony’s fundraising expedition to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in September. Hide AdCANINE PARTNERS COFFEE MORNING: takes place on Saturday 30 April from 10.00 am until 12 noon in the Parish Room. £1 entry for adults, children free which includes drinks and biscuits. There will be raffle, cake sale, books, crafts, jewellery and pre-loved fashion accessories and handbags. Learn all about Canine Partners and meet some of their amazing dogs and puppies. All proceeds to Canine Partners which is a registered charity that assists people with disabilities to enjoy a greater independence and quality of life through the provision of specially trained dogs. During 2015 they are celebrating their 25th Anniversary, and have provided more than 530 trained dogs to help disabled people.
BALCOMBE CLUB LOTTO: will be drawn at 6.00 pm on Saturday 30 April.
FREE CPR AND DEFIBRILLATOR TRAINING: will take place on Thursday 5 May from 11.00 am until 2.00 pm. The course is limited to 12 persons and is for Balcombe villagers who are prepared to use our newly acquired defib in a medical emergency. No previous resuscitation knowledge needed. If you are interested about learning about these lifesaving techniques, please contact Sue Taylor as she is co-ordinating attendance.
