Police appeal after Burgess Hill burglary is thwarted

Police are seeing witnesses to an attempted burglary in Burgess Hill.
At about 2pm on Wednesday (October 2) two men were disturbed by the homeowner whilst entering a house in Oakroyd Close, Burgess Hill, and were chased into Charlwood Gardens and Valebridge Drive where they disappeared from sight.
Nothing was stolen.
Detective Constable Ollie Summers said; “If you were in the area that afternoon and saw two men described as being in their late teens or early 20’s, one of whom may have had dark brown ear-length hair, running away please call us on 101 or email ‘[email protected]’ quoting serial 801 of 2/10.
