Hospital for wildlife still on the brink
Mountains of mail have arrived at the hospital carrying messages of support and generous donations, in some cases 1,000 at a time, but their ordeal is still far from over.
Meetings last weekend for volunteers and people with fundraising ideas to come forward saw around 30 people turn up to share their experience.

'Things have changed, lots of people are ringing up and offering their help, people have been sending in money, but we are still in need of a lot of help. I am cautiously optimistic.
'We need money to continuously keep coming in so we can keep going for years rather than weeks.'
