Beware another blurred vision
Now, where have I heard this before? Wasn't this the "vision" we were sold for the East Bank?
We were promised small workshops, with living accommodation above, so that employment would be maintained in that area.

In addition, if, as no doubt will happen, Railway Wharf is redeveloped, I would like to reiterate my concerns of March, 2000, in a letter to this newspaper.
Repairs to Railway Wharf in 1999 were financed by Arun District Council, West Sussex County Council and Littlehampton Harbour Board; in other words, local taxpayers.

Hide AdI hope there was a clause in this financial arrangement that, should permission be granted for redevelopment of Railway Wharf within a certain time of the repairs, the cost of those repairs would be repaid to us through the councils.
