The new funding award - made possible following BBC Children in Need’s 2019 Appeal in November - will support the delivery of vital services to young people in the area and means that the charity now has more than £379,000 invested locally.

Fellowship of St Nicholas will use a three-year grant of £95,542 to provide therapeutic support sessions for children and young people with a range of disadvantages including mental health and complex family issues. Funding will provide a space where children and young people can take part in a selection of activities to help build confidence, self-esteem and develop positive family relationships.
