This is Annabelle Pring, 7, from Holy Trinity, Cuckfield. She is dressed up as Marjana from the tale of Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves from the book Arabian Nights. Marjana was a slave killed the thieves who came to murderously steal from Ali Baba and his family by pouring hot oil into the jars each thief was hiding in. When the head thief, who had escaped, she recognised him and killed him with a safer hidden in her scarves. From these acts she was rewarded with her freedom and welcomed in to Ali Babas family.
