Police hunt for death crash car
Michael Thompson, 34, from Warrior Gardens, Hastings, was sentenced at Hove Crown Court on June 20 to two years in prison and given a four-year driving ban.
Thompson was overtaking an F-reg cream Mazda hatchback on the wrong side of the road when he hit motorcyclist Andrew Howe head-on at 70 mph.

Hide AdMr Howe, a Falklands war veteran and keep-fit fanatic, was killed instantly.
The court ordered Thompson to pass an extended driving test before he can take to the road again.
Thompson pleaded guilty to causing the death by dangerous driving of Mr Howe, 42, from Brook Street, Hastings on August 3, 2001.
The court heard he was driving his beige Honda Accord on the A259 at the Denbeigh bends, Little Common, towards Eastbourne when he overtook the Mazda. In doing so he hit Mr Howe head on, killing him instantly.

Hide AdThompson was pursuing the Mazda after an incident at the London Road traffic lights, in Bexhill.
Inspector Natalie Carron of the Bexhill traffic unit said the police investigation continues to find the Mazda driver.
She said: "Forensic evidence shows the Mazda was involved in the accident."
