Priory will be back in the top flight next summer after clinching promotion from Division Two last weekend.
Gillespie said: “It’s going to be a big step up, we know that. I think our mission is going to be first and foremost to stay up - that’s got to be the prime ambition of anyone who moves up to the next league - so we’ll be looking at the teams around us rather than the top two or three who have probably got far greater resources than the rest of us.

“Obviously as a squad we’ll always be looking to improve it. We’ve already identified two or three areas that we would like to improve and particularly get more depth in so we’ve got greater cover.
“We’ve had some injuries this season and that’s stretched us, and we need to make sure we’ve got players who can play in the Premier League in that squad to come in when we get injuries, but also a couple of high quality players, perhaps someone to support the batting when the pressure’s on, would be really helpful to us. So we will be certainly looking to add a bit to our squad.”
Priory can look forward to renewing local rivalries with Bexhill in 2016, as well as games against the likes of Premier League champions Roffey, Horsham and Preston Nomads.
