Although she performed another super routine, a slip on landing meant Rose received a 1.5-point deduction which pushed her back to silver.
Rose booked her place at the NIA by meeting the qualifying standard when coming second at a gala in Hatfield at the end of January. She did it again in coming third at a gala in Yorkshire a month later.
The year 10 Helenswood School pupil, who has another year in the under-17 age group, also lined-up in the under-19 girls’ synchronised event with Sheffield-based partner Georgie Haylock.
