City assistant boss Graeme Gee said he was happy with the performance against their higher-division near neighbours, and now looking forward to the Cup opener.
“It was great to see such a good crowd in. Hopefully, we’ve shown what we’re about and attracted some Bognor fans to come and support us at times this season,” said Gee.
“Getting fans in is important now more than ever, as clubs at our level are in need of the money.

Chi’s bosses are happy to have kept last season’s squad togather as they plan for their second season in the Isthmian south east division.
Gee added: “I’m really happy with the boys we’ve signed – Ethan Pritchard in particular looked great and should be one for the future,”
