EUROPE'S foremost Neil Diamond tribute performer John Hylton says he will 'guarantee' Crawley fans an authentic Neil Diamond experience if they visit his show at The Hawth on Thursday July 17.
Along with a seven piece band, John will accurately sing some of Neil's classics. And he is 'promising' fans that they will walk away impressed.

John said: "People who visit the night in Crawley are going to think they've stepped back in time 20 years are watching the real thing.
"If they close their eyes and listen they won't know the difference between me and Neil Diamond."

Upon leaving school John became a trainee accountant and forgot about a career in music until he decided to return to the stage as a way of earning extra money to support his family.

It wasn't long before he was playing every weekend and loving every minute of it.

To start with he sang songs from his musical youth - the Beatles, John Denver, Bob Dylan and then of course, Neil Diamond.

John was aware that Diamond fans had high expectations, so he decided to take his family to the Canary Islands where he perfected singing Diamond songs in bars and clubs.

After developing the mannerisms and vocal inflections during three thousand shows in nine years, he was ready to return to the UK with a show that would fully capture the authentic Neil Diamond "in Concert" experience.

When Neil Diamond himself toured the UK in the summer of 2005, John Hylton was asked to sing at three of the venues, in order to promote ticket sales for the tour.

Now, in the theatres with his band of seven talented musicians, John presents an authentic, powerful and passionate performance.
Tickets priced £16 are on sale now from The Hawth box office online at www.hawth.co.uk or by calling (01293) 553636.
