TWO superb guitarists will be performing a wide selection of jazz classics while you enjoy a two course lunch at The Hawth this July.
Strumtastic Jim Sullivan and Doug Pruden play the Spotlight room on Sunday, July 20 giving the Crawley audience an opportunity to see two highly skilled and experienced guitarists.

Jim started playing guitar aged 14 and within two years was earning a living as a professional.

He joined Marty Wilde's Wildcats and later became one of the most sought after session guitarist during the 1960s and '70s.

The back catalogue of chart hits Jim has played on include more than a thousand songs by pop giants such as David Bowie, Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Frank Sinatra and many others.

Doug Pruden's guitar playing is the perfect foil for 'Big' Jim's artistry of the guitar and it was Jim's idea to team up with Doug early in 2003. Prior to this, Doug was one half of the renowned Jazz Gitanes duo.

Music lovers will be able to enjoy the music with a two course meal with a choice of Cajun chicken breast with cherry tomatoes and mushrooms in a cream sauce, oven roasted meat balls served in a spicy tomato and basil sauce or Blackened Salmon marinated in Cajun spices with a white wine and dill sauce with a selection of salads and rices.

A selection of desserts includes Key Lime Pie, Creole Chocolate Cake, Strawberries and Cream, and ice cream.

The Jazz Brunch comes to The Hawth on July 20 at 12 noon.

Tickets priced £15 including food are available in advance online at www.hawth.co.uk or from the Hawth box office on (01293) 553636.
