Bognor's FA Trophy heroes are back in cup action tonight (Wednesday) - but are being told their win over Torquay doesn't make their semi-final against Eastbourne Borough any easier.

Four days after beating the National League premier side to reach the Trophy semi-finals, Jamie Howell sends his team out against yet another side from a higher league.

Eastbourne play in National League South - the same division as Oxford City, Bath City, Maidstone and Sutton, all beaten by the Rocks in knockout competitions this season.

But Howell said that didn’t change the fact Bognor were underdogs for the Sussex Senior Cup semi at Lancing (7.15).

“Someone said Eastbourne Borough would be an easy game for us as we’ve been beating teams from their league, but nothing could be further from the truth.

“We know what a good side they are and they’ll start as favourites. But the senior cup, despite all our other commitments, is a competition in which we’d love to get to another final.”

With Gary Charman and Connor Tighe cup-tied, Howell cannot make many changes from the team who beat Torquay.
